Scott Pilgrim vs. the World Xbox 360 DLC Not Working [Update]
As long as Scott Pilgrim fans have been waiting on the Knives Chau DLC for Xbox 360, when they finally do get it, it doesn't work. The DLC priced at 160 MS points can be downloaded, but apparently an update is required for it to actually work. Get it together Ubi!

Dissidia Duodecim Final Fantasy Jump Festa Trailer and Square Enix's Stupidity
Alright. As much as I'm hyped for this game, I really do wonder why Square won't release this game on PS3 with stunning HD visuals and more playable characters. Then again Square doesn't like money. You don't like money. I don't like money. Who needs it?! The first Dissidia was reported to have been downloaded illegally 5.2 million times in Japan. Thats 40 bucks times 5.2 million copies. That's roughly around 208 million US dollars (17 billion yen). Who cares about Aeris dying? Square is killing themselves.

Card Sagas Wars Is Still Alive!
As much as you might forget about this game or assume the developers got kidnapped or killed by hired assassins, another new video showing gameplay is released. This time it's Soma against Chrono.
Is This Really the Fate of Indie Game Developers?
We all need money to live or at least most people do. I know I do. I'd want to go mainstream, but if you really have a passion for what you do or want to achieve then you wouldn't sell out.

Hyperdimension Neptunia's U.S. Trailer
NIS America finally released a English trailer for Hyperdimension Neptunia. I'm glad we'll get the Japanese language tracks as a bonus because those English voices are shitty. I'm pretty sure that their are people out there that can voice act better than this. We need you!!!

One Piece: Unlimited Cruise SP Jump Festa Trailer
It's crazy how both One Piece: Unlimited Cruise 1 and 2 are going to fit on a single 3DS cartridge. It looks like it's going to be twice as much fun too. Don't expect this to come out in the states because we didn't even get Unlimited Cruise 1 and 2 booty. Hopefully there's a European release with subs again so you should definitely add it to the "Too Be Imported" list.

Rurouni Kenshin: Saisen Trailer
It's nice to hear "Freckles" again but I'm sorry. This game looks like crap. I can't fully agree with that statement yet until I play it though. All the major playable characters are there and that Street Fighter art stroke looks mighty nice. The gameplay looks similar to the Hitman Reborn Battle Arena series on PSP and those games are just OK but not great. Saisen comes out next year on March 11th.

Bleach: Soul Ignition Demo Gameplay
At Jump Festa 2011, some lucky fans received codes for the demo that's being released next week. So here's what you'll be playing if you decide to download it.
Good Show!
Alot of people are calling out Doctor Lautrec And The Forgotten Knights on how it's similar to Professor Layton. Visually he may seem like Layton, have a hat like Layton, and also have an assistant like Layton but look at the rest of the outfit and the 'stache!

Looking Back At The 2010 Video Game Awards.......
I was at work when the show first started. I was so eager to get off to catch these new trailers. I came just in time to catch the Uncharted 3 trailer. Excitement! And then I caught game of the year which was Red Dead Redemption. While I can agree with that, where was a major Wii or PC title? No Starcraft 2? Super Mario Galaxy 2 was even nominated. Are we being biased toward Japanese games? Would it not seem right for a Japanese title to takes this "coveted" award? I caught the rerun. As I watched the intro I knew this show was doomed from the start. Neil Patrick Harris and his failed gunshots. That must've been the practice run.
Now let's get to some of these awards and who I thought should have won.
Best Downloadable Game: Costume Quest
Who Should've Won: Monday Night Combat or Scott Pilgrim vs. the World: The Game
Monday Night Combat is a solid online multiplayer game. It may not be Team Fortress 2 but the class based game play is pretty decent. On top of that, the developers love us. FREE DLC.
Best Handheld Game: God of War: Ghost of Sparta
Who Should've Won: Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker
I really had a problem with this category^. How can you mention handheld games and have Pokemon not even be nominated?!
Best PS3 Game: God of War III
My problem is Red Dead Redemption being a nominee. And the funny thing about it is that you know, I know, and everyone there knows that the game isn't an exclusive. So why the %&$! was it nominated?
Best Driving Game: Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit
Who Should've Won: Modnation Racers
Modnation Racers is one of the best racers out there. The gameplay is similar to Mario Kart but it takes the concept further by being able to upgrade your weapons. You are also given the ability to defend yourself as well. And the customization is so damn deep. The possibilities are indeed endless. Modnation Racers is powered by an amazing community too. Search for any popular car or character and I promise you'll find it. If not, then you can create it!
Best Perfomance by a Human Male: Neil Patrick Harris as Peter Parker/Spider-Man in Spider-Man: Shattered Dimensions
Who Should've Won: someone else
Why? This seems like a gimmick for him to win. There's also tons of others who deserve this award. Why wasn't TC Carson nominated either? He does an EXCEPTIONAL job as Kratos. I can't believe he went out of his way to voice those silly scenes for the show.
Strongest Heroes of All Time: Master Chief, Samus Aran, and Marcus Fenix
Who Should've Won: Kratos or Mario
*breathe*......HOW DOES BEING ABLE TO USE A FUCKING GUN MAKE YOU STRONG. Strength is being able to punch mountains and uppercut a person into the atmosphere. Strength for Master Chief would being picking a warthog and smashing an Elite with it. I'm pretty sure if Samus and real strength she would not be rolling around a suit that can fire and huge laser beam. And if Marcus Fenix had strength, instead of chainsawing Locust, he would take his bare hands and split them down the middle. Kratos took down gods. Mario is smashing stuff with his feet, smacking ememies with a cape or tail, and RUNNING THROUGH LEVELS AS A GIANT.
With all that being said, screw the VGAs. The ratings dropped again this year. Us purchasing the games have a greater value than a VGA. Hopefully in the future, video games will get a grand award show like the Grammy's and get televised on one of the big networks. But like most games, it's probably a fantasy. And Spike TV, you need to stop.

Deus Ex Delayed...
Talk about a hype killer....Why Square?!!! WHY?!?!
With weak sales performance of console game titles that have been newly released during the current fiscal year as well as harsh market feedback regarding a key title, the Group recognizes the reinforcement of development capability in our Digital Entertainment segment as our most critical managerial issue.
We therefore have decided to spend additional time to further polish our upcoming game, DEUS EX: HUMAN REVOLUTION, resulting in a shift in release timing from our prior plan of the current fiscal year to next fiscal year.
Oh well. I'm pretty sure we'll be occupied by something else that's awesome.

Dead Rising 2: Case West Price And Release Date
Exclusively for Xbox 360 on December 27th for 800 MS points. Sony needs to step it up. Microsoft scoops up everything early. Then again they probably offer more since they have so many who pay for memberships. The DLC includes co-op play, new weapons, enemies, the use of that trusty camera, and Frank of course! Also, the disc isn't required to play!

This new boss called "No Heart" is VERY familiar to Xemnas' armor in Kingdom Hearts II. No Heart is a Mirage Arena boss. The battle has him sitting like Xemnas was on his throne in Kingdom Hearts II.

Haruhi Suzumiya PS3/PSP Teaser
Seems so depressing. Then again, the story seems depressing as well. The story starts after where the movie left off. The player takes the role Kyon who is at the Kita High School Festival again in a world where the SOS Brigade doesn't exist. Sad yes?

Uncharted 3: Drake's Deception Revealed
There's nothing like waking up to good news! Some details have finally been revealed on Uncharted 3! Releasing late next year, the game will explore the theme of deception. Amy Hennig, Naughty Dog's creative director says the theme of deception will play out in multiple ways. It will have Drake doing the deceiving and also have Drake being deceived to some mysterious deception about his very own identity. Sounds confusing. (like Inception confusing)
The story will also focus on the Drake’s relationship with Victor “Sully” Sullivan, Sully has him searching for a legendary lost city that will ultimately take him to the Arabian Peninsula and the vast wasteland of the Rub’ al Khali Desert. Hennig said the inspiration came from Naughty Dog’s desire to take on the challenge of conceiving and building out gameplay scenarios within a desert locale,
Naughty Dog is also making several gameplay tweaks such as fighting more than one enemy at once. Much effort is being placed into the online multiplayer as well. Naughty Dog states they want to compete with the "big boys". I definitely thought Uncharted 2 had deeper multiplayer experience than Halo and Call of Duty. I certainly had more options to take on opponents besides hiding by either standing or crouching behind a wall..... A preview for the trailer and more details are located at PopWatch. The full trailer will be revealed this Saturday at the Spike Video Games. I can never take those awards seriously. At least I have a reason to watch now!

New L.A. Noire Screenshots
New Bleach: Soul Ignition Scan
Can't really tell what's going on in the screenshots, but it looks like another form of Ichigo is playable. Sony had announced that they planned on releasing a demo some time. If that's the case, then then game could've been in development for a while or either it's going to be quick and crappy. I hope not though. I don't need any memories of Bleach: Erabareshi Tamashii on PS2. That game was AWFUL.

Street Fighter Cameo In Panty and Stocking With Garterbelt Anime?
I just watched episode 10 of this series (which I highly recommend) again and I noticed something. This anime makes a lot of references to popular movies or shows but this one, if intended, wasn't too direct. And you can't deny. This looks like or is Guile. Look at the hair, that hamburger, and the DOG TAGS MAN! THE DOG TAGS!!! Maybe that's Abel too!

FO' REAL! This is a screenshot from Namco Bandai's upcoming 4-player arcade cabinet titled Dragon Ball: Zenkai Battle Royale. Bridgestone Sports announced that it would be releasing these special Dragon Ball V10 golf balls on December 15th. That's seven balls marked with the corresponding stars of the actual dragon balls. The pack of balls (hah) will go for ¥5,145. Now someone go tell Tiger Woods about this so he can summon the golf dragon which can grant his wish of not golfing like shit or maybe even erase those past blunders in life.

Maybe Square and Disney are secretly preparing the Kingdom Hearts: Final Mix Collection. Good ol dreams. That's what we're made of.
