Keiji Inafune Leaves Capcom

Mega Man creator Keiji Inafune has announced that he will be leaving Capcom at the end of this month. The former head of Research and Development had been with Capcom for 23 years. Recently, Inafune had expressed his disappointment on the current state of the Japanese gaming industry. He believed that the Japanese gaming industry was finished, made awful games, and that developers weren't taking the job serious. Inafune announced his retirement on his blog in an entry titled "Sayonara." This is probably shocking news to most Mega Man fans. Inafune was also attached to huge projects such as Mega Man Universe and Mega Man Legends 3. His career is in no way over as he stated he only reached his peak at Capcom. After 23 years, I'd probably be looking for a new home and some new air to breathe too.
