After telling us no to screw around with us, Atlus went ahead to announce that Catherine was coming over to us MONTHS after Valentine's Day. I'm not complaining though. At least we're getting it. NO MORE JOKES ATLUS!

New Catherine Trailer

I've been playing alot of Castlevania HD and this game reminds me of it. Both are puzzle-like games, but Catherine definitely has more gore and sex appeal. Early purchasers of Catherine will get a "sound disc" and artbook. Hopefully that same bonus will carry over to the states.

No More Packages From Japan

AMERICAAAA!!!!! FUCK YEAH!!!!!!!!! Fuck no. The U.S. has decided to ban Japan from shipping products to us because of our terrorism fears. When I say our, don't consider me part of it. The way I see it is that there is no such thing as fear. Alot of people fear death, but it's a part of life. It can be unexpected sometimes, but it happens. One of my good friends posted this on Facebook and I thought it was hilarious: Fear = False evidence appearing real. I agree with him too. That guy is smart. No wonder his blog is called Smart Brother. You should follow it if you like some deep intellectual thoughts to help you along the day.

BACK TO THE TOPIC. Japan's main international delivery service, Japan Post, were forced to indefinitely stop accepting any items over 453g (which is about 1 lb) in weight for air shipment to the U.S. or its various island territories due to these "fears." According to Sankaku Complex,  companies holding business accounts with Japan Post shouldn't be affected but small businesses and individuals are. Now let's get back to enjoying our freedom!

Tokyo Game Show: Catherine Trailer

This game is going to be amazing! While we've seen very little gameplay, this game continues to look intriguing.

Atlus No More

As reported earlier, which I didn't post, a representative from Index Holdings announced that Atlus will be dissolved. Atlus, already fully owned by the company, will merge with the mobile division of the company which is named "Index." The Atlus brand will exist on future games but Atlus will no longer be listed in the Tokyo Stock Exchange. Sad but at least we'll still have the Atlus logo on their releases. I personally believe decline in games come from lack of innovation or interest which could also be people unwilling to try to new things. But don't consider that the reason for this move though. Especially with games like Catherine and Persona 5 on the way. Also recently announced from Atlus is Persona 3 Social. It's a mobile game (hah) that's free, but players will have to pay for in-game items. Check out the screens below.

Atlus Japan's First HD Game

I want to play this so bad. I'm drawn in by the madness. This game has everything you want right? Boobs, lambs wearing ties, sex, and an oddball of a character who goes by the name of Vincent. The trailer starts off with Vincent asking an unknown woman if she's heard the rumor that if you die in a dream, then you die in real life. She states that she hasn't but did have a dream where she killed someone. And then craziness ensues like Vincent running around in his boxers.
