COMBO!!!!!!!!

Go to 1:12.

I played the demo and it seems the combat had a little more depth to it. I couldn't pull off that combo in the video above, but I did do some pretty crazy stuff. The camera still seems to be a problem but it only happened once during the trial. I feel a little more comfortable about purchasing this title now but the question is: Do we really need all these pointless characters added to the fray? I mean seriously. Are you really going to play as Cooler's bozo squad below? Someone else could have their spots. Such as GT characters who are NOT featured in this game.

New Dragonball Raging Blast 2 Trailer

The gameplay looks incredibly fluid in this trailer. I hope it stays that way. Especially online! I can definitely see the improvements now though. The devs said that the GT storyline was irrelevant so let's hope they stick to those truths. I don't want to be playing this game for like six months and then have Raging Blast 3 announced with "GT STORYLINE!!!!!!!" So do you think this is the last Raging Blast? Instead of our pockets being emptied on redundant sequels, how about make something innovative? Sort've like what Tenkaichi was to the Budokai series (which I miss dearly).

Dragon Ball: Raging Blast 2 North American Box Art Revealed (Sort've...)

It's the same as Europe's cover only with the title at the top instead of the bottom. That's just stupid and tacky...BUT Europe's is better. At least the title doesn't cover up the characters.

Now let's wait for that amazing Japanese cover.

Exclusive Anime Episode to be Included with Dragonball: Raging Blast 2

Yesterday, Namco Bandai announced that all retail copies of Dragonball: Raging Blast 2 for the PS3 and Xbox 360 will feature a brand new re-edited 30-minute anime episode. The title of the episode is "Dragonball: Plan to Eradicate the Super Saiyans." The episode can be watched straight out of the box. Also, watching the episode in its entirety will unlock a bonus in-game character.

Raging Blast 2 will include tons of new features and improvements. There's over 20 new characters to the series, new effects from destruction of the environment, fully optimized 5.1 surround sound, new visuals, new combo system, and last but not least, a reworked camera!! That was biggest issue with the last game. Not only would the opponent beat me up but also the poor camera angles. Make sure to check www.namcobandaigames.eu on August 18 for a sneak preview of the episode!
