A Square Enix Crap Title is Cancelled! Hooray!

I couldn't take it serious and Square Enix probably realized they couldn't take it seriously. "Stupid ass" characters and shitty rock music is a formula for crap video game. The chances of that formula actually working though is equivalent to me trying to catch a Mewtwo with a Pokeball (no hax son!). The shit just doesn't happen. At least in my case it doesn't happen. I'm also going to leave the trailer here to piss me off.

Xenogears Coming to PSN Tomorrow

The Playstation classic, Xenogears, is headed to the PSN tomorrow. Don't know how much it is yet, but it better be free for Plus members. I'm tired of being offered games that I already own (and paid for) for free. How about give me some cash back instead!

Dissidia 012[duodecim] Demo Available

Only on the Japanese Playstation Network though and for a price. The demo is called Dissidia Duodecim Prologus Final Fantasy. For ¥300, you'll be able to play Story Mode or Arcade mode. The story mode is a short scenario that ties to the main story. Arcade mode is just a regular battle against the CPU. Keeping the save data on the PSP will unlock Aeris as an assist character in the final game!

Kingdom Hearts 3D Officially Revealed

The Kingdom Hearts game on the Nintendo 3DS finally has an actual title: Kingdom Hearts 3D: Dream Drop Distance. Now we know what they meant by "3D". Looks like Kingdom Hearts 1 all over again. Then again, this story is supposed to lead into Kingdom Hearts 3. I hope this is the last back, side, under, or inside story from a Kingdom Hearts game! The official site is also up. Famitsu reports that one of the new worlds is The Hunchback of Notre Dame.

Final Fantasy Agito XIII Gets A Name Change

While not worst than God Eater being changed to Gods Eater [I blame you simple-minded Americans!] in America, Final Fantasy Agito XIII will now be known as Final Fantasy Type-0. The game now has nothing to do with anything "XIII". Not even Organization XIII. Sorry Xemnas...Also trademarked are Type-1, 2, and 3. My guess is that these games will be similar to the Tactics series, only difference being is that Type-0 is action-oriented. Type-0 will be on two UMDs and is expecting a 2011 release in Japan.

Final Fantasy XIII-2 Is A Direct Sequel

Of all things, Square Enix, why would you make a sequel to this game. I enjoyed the first game unlike most people put I think this is pushing it a little. Square needs to focus on big titles we're expecting like Kingdom Hearts 3 and Final Fantasy Versus XIII. You're killing our friendship Square! XIII-2 is going to be a direct sequel and it's being released on the PS3 and Xbox 360. I don't know what to expect anymore. I'm guessing Lightning will have a musical career and trade her guns for a staff. Garment Grid, dresspheres, etc. Make sure to get a 100% on the story too so we can get the real ending that brings back characters who you thought died in the first title! XIII-2 is planned for release this year in Japan.

Alright. As much as I'm hyped for this game, I really do wonder why Square won't release this game on PS3 with stunning HD visuals and more playable characters. Then again Square doesn't like money. You don't like money. I don't like money. Who needs it?! The first Dissidia was reported to have been downloaded illegally 5.2 million times in Japan. Thats 40 bucks times 5.2 million copies. That's roughly around 208 million US dollars (17 billion yen). Who cares about Aeris dying? Square is killing themselves.

This Is How Dissidia 012 [duodecim] Final Fantasy's Assist System Works

Looks like it works to me! The assist gauge has two levels. It builds up by attacking and using different moves. Standing around doing nothing depletes the meter. Once the first meter is filled you can press the L button + Cirlce to call for your assist character for an "Assist Brave" which lowers your opponent's brave meter. If you have the second gauge filled up along with the first, you perform an "Assist HP" when you press the L button + Circle. This attacks the opponent's Brave Points. This should add a little more strategy to the game. Hopefully no one exploits it. I think Square might get it right this time though. No tweaks!

Looks like this game is gonna be good. As in Final Fantasy confusing good. I don't know wtf is going on even with the subtitles. Lightning also looks like she's going to be a very versatile character since she can use Final Fantasy XIII's paradigm shift to mix up her gameplay. Also more good news from this game. Tifa has her Advent Children outfit. I wonder though. Does that include the breast reduction as well? Doesn't look like it from this. Begin the boob comparison!

Final Fantasy Versus XIII and Agito XIII TGS Trailer

Okay. Agito XIII is looking amazing. Gameplay? Exciting. Versus XIII? What the hell. If the Kingdom Hearts team is in charge of the gameplay, then why does it look so boring? Slash, slash, AAAAAND slash. I mean, honestly, that's a fricking Behemoth that's taking those boring attacks. Nomura is in charge of this game so I can't give up just yet!

Kingdom Hearts Re: coded U.S. Release Date

Following the apparent leak of the European release date which is January 14, 2011, Square Enix OFFICIALLY announced that the American release date is January 11, 2011. Kingdom Hearts Re: coded is the Nintendo DS version of Kingdom Hearts coded, which was released on mobile phones in Japan. The story takes place after Kingdom Hearts II, therefore I won't give any details into the plot just in case any of you haven't played it yet. The gameplay will feature a mixture of elements from Birth by Sleep, 358/2 Days, and the original Kingdom Hearts coded. Re:Coded was actually just released hours ago in Japan!
